RECREATIONAL: I starting playing recreational in 1984 at Kleinman Park in Mesa, AZ when visiting family in the Spring. The course no longer exists.

COMPETITION: I starting playing competitively in 2004. Growing up on a farm with six brothers, I've always enjoyed competing in sports.  Competition is humbling when your play is below your standards... but very rewarding when things go your way. Memories of humbling performances drive my will to practice on the short game.

I LOVE THIS SPORT I enjoy meeting new people and playing different courses. The friendships and the solidarity that comes out of competitive play... is priceless.  I admire disc golf players who can keep their poise through the tough times on the course and who take special care not to let their personal disappointment of poor shots... disrupt other players and tarnish the image of disc golf.

MN DISC GOLF I am impressed with the level of talent and courses in Minnesota.  I think the Sundog league is one of the best things going in the local disc golf scene... with the rotating course schedule, the big turn-out of disc golfers, and the excellent leadership running the league. It's the best league in the world... according to some local veteran disc golf players.

TEAM PAR 72 I'm glad to be a new member of TEAM PAR 72 DISC GOLF 2005 to help Disc Golf Promoter/Top Tier Professional Disc Golf Player Timmy Gill and other members of TEAM PAR 72 to collectively raise more awareness of the great sport - disc golf... in Minnesota and beyond.
